Alright so I know it’s been a while since the last update. I’ve been pretty busy with classes and work, but now winter quarter is over and I can work on this site again. Really all I’ve done is change the background to black and made the header and twitter widget match it. I think this looks much better than it did before.
Anyway, I’m hoping that I can continue improving this site and a few other projects while I’m on break. I’m at home in Pine Island, NY right now, but I’ll be back in Rochester working full time from Monday to Friday and then it’s back to classes the following week.
Ok, so I changed the theme on my wordpress to look more like how I want it. I also linked my blog and my web site together, so you can reach my site by clicking on my name in the header. Lastly, I got a twitter account, which has been embeded into my home page.
Also, I found this using stumbleupon and I thought it was funny. Almost wish I could go back and try this. Almost.
Alright, so I decided to check out what this wordpress thing is all about. So far, I’m pretty impressed with how easy it is to use and how extendible it can be, which is something that I hope to experience more of in the next few weeks. So the only thing I managed to do this weekend was to update my site (http://www.samgottfried.com). I decided to ditch the CSS template that I was using in favor of one that I created myself. I’d like to hear what people think about it. I also updated my resume to include my current co-op.
I am going to try updating my blog at least a few times a week, which is something I have neglected to do in the past, so I encourage people to come back, or at least go to my home page if you didn’t reach this blog from there.
